HydraFacial uses a patented system that begins with gentle exfoliation using a blended serum to uncover healthy skin. Next, the tiny vacuum suction gently removes blackheads, dead skin cells, dirt and other impurities. It then infuses the skin with hydrating, nourishing and moisturizing serums. These rejuvenating serums, which are tailored to the needs of each patient, have anti-oxidant and anti-aging properties.
Are there any side effects?
HydraFacial is a breakthrough in skincare because it provides the benefits of a peel without the scaling, peeling and roughness – there is virtually no downtime with a HydraFacial. There may be a slight discomfort during the exfoliation phase and a little redness that quickly dissipates post-treatment. Many of our patients choose to do a Hydrafacial before a big event where they want their skin to look and feel its best.
While this unique skin therapy works on virtually skin types; there are a few groups who should discuss alternatives with their esthetician or doctor: those with pregnancy, sunburn, active rashes and rosacea.
